By using ShaftSwap, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Trading System
ShaftSwap enables shaft-for-shaft trading. Balance trades by offering multiple shafts. A $5 trade fee applies per completed trade.
1. User Responsibilities
You must be 18 years or older to use ShaftSwap
You are responsible for accurate listing descriptions
You must ship items within 3 business days of trade confirmation
You agree to use proper packaging for golf shafts
You will handle all shipping arrangements through ShipStation
2. Trading Rules
All trades are final once both parties confirm
A $5 trade fee is charged per completed trade
False or misleading listings may result in account suspension
Users must maintain accurate condition ratings
Communication must remain professional and respectful
3. Shipping & Liability
Sellers are responsible for shipping items safely
ShipStation handles all shipping liability and insurance
ShaftSwap is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments
Users should purchase insurance for items over $200
Track all shipments and provide tracking numbers
4. Account & Payment
Active subscription ($5/mo) required to trade
Payment information is securely stored and encrypted
Cancel subscription anytime (no refunds for partial months)
Trade fees are non-refundable
5. Privacy & Data
We collect minimal personal information (email, name, address)
Payment processing handled by Stripe (PCI compliant)
We never sell your personal information
Social verification links are optional and user-controlled
You can delete your account and data at any time
6. Prohibited Activities
Creating multiple accounts to abuse the system
Selling counterfeit or stolen equipment
Harassment or threatening behavior toward other users
Attempting to circumvent the trade fee system
Using ShaftSwap for commercial resale operations
Important Notice
ShaftSwap reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
7. Dispute Resolution
Contact support@shaftswap.golf to initiate a dispute within 7 days of receiving a shipment
Both parties may submit evidence including photos, messages, and tracking information
Disputes are reviewed within 7 business days of submission
ShaftSwap will reach out to both parties for statements before making a decision
If the dispute cannot be resolved between parties, ShaftSwap will make a final, binding decision based on available evidence
Repeated disputes may affect your trust score
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations
Incomplete trades must be resolved before account closure
Trade fees are non-refundable upon voluntary account closure
